About Me

Hello and welcome! I’m Sepideh Hossaini, MA, RP, CSFT, a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I provide psychotherapy to adults and couples navigating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Over the past decade, I have supported individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds. My approach is collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that each person’s experiences and pace are unique.

Approach to Therapy

Mind–Body Integration
I incorporate principles of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a somatic and trauma-informed approach that recognizes the connection between body, emotion, and thought. This method can help bring awareness to how your body and mind are interconnected, supporting self-reflection and regulation in the therapeutic process.

Couples Counselling and Relationships
With couples, I draw from the Gottman Method couples therapy, a research-based approach that focuses on strengthening communication, trust, and mutual understanding. I have also completed the Intensive Sex Therapy Training Program at the University of Guelph, which adds specialized skills to support couples navigating intimacy concerns. Together, we can explore patterns in your relationship and work toward clearer understanding and improved connection.

Solution-Focused Therapy
As a Certified Solution-Focused Therapist (CSFT), I integrate strategies that highlight your strengths, resources, and preferred directions for change. This approach encourages curiosity, reflection, and possibility while keeping the focus on your goals and priorities.

Therapy sessions are guided by collaboration. I strive to provide professional support, research-informed interventions, and a compassionate, attentive presence as we explore your concerns together. Every therapeutic journey is unique, and the pace and focus of sessions are determined collaboratively and reviewed regularly to align with your goals.
