As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Certified Solution-Focused Therapist (CSFT), I bring years of experience and professional training to my work with individuals and couples seeking therapy. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to support clients through various challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, self-improvement, relationship difficulties, and infidelity. I have completed the Intensive Sex Therapy training program at the University of Guelph and couples therapy training at the Gottman Institute, gaining extensive experience in assisting couples with communication and intimacy challenges, as well as issues related to affairs.
My approach is grounded in a deep respect for each person's unique journey and the belief that we all have the capacity to heal and grow. As a Certified Solution-Focused Therapist, I aim to guide clients in understanding the ripple effects that small changes may have in their lives.
I am particularly interested in the profound connection between the mind and body and how it impacts mental and emotional well-being. This interest has led me to continuously expand my knowledge by staying informed about the latest literature and advancements in psychotherapy. My commitment to integrating mind-body awareness into therapy has inspired me to train in somatic-oriented modalities, such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which focuses on the body's role in the healing process.
By combining these approaches with an authentic presence, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients may explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and potentially find a path toward meaningful change.
