I’m glad you’re here!
Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you have been carrying anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, or stress for a long time.
My hope is to create a space where you feel emotionally safe, understood, and supported without judgment.
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and trauma-related challenges.

My Story
I’ve always been curious about how people get through hard things and why some people seem able to stay resilient even during difficult periods in life. Over time, I became interested not only in stress and emotional struggles, but also in what helps people heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. I was especially drawn to understanding the strengths, relationships, and inner resources people already carry, which eventually led me toward psychology and therapy.

What continues to keep me connected to this work is seeing how even small changes can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
Sometimes those changes look like feeling a little more grounded, handling stress differently, communicating more openly, reconnecting with yourself, or feeling more understood in your relationships.
I believe small shifts can create ripple effects not only within ourselves, but also within our relationships, families, and communities.

My Approach to Therapy
I see therapy as a space grounded in support, collaboration, and real human connection.
Clients often tell me they appreciate the calmer pace I bring into sessions. I aim to create a space where people feel comfortable slowing down, talking openly about what they’re going through, and exploring their experiences without feeling judged or pressured.
My work is largely informed by somatic therapy, which means I pay attention not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to how stress and anxiety can show up physically in the body and nervous system.
Sometimes people understand something logically, but still notice themselves feeling emotionally or physically stuck. Therapy can help increase awareness of these patterns and support new ways of responding.

I’m also a certified solution-focused therapist, and that perspective strongly shapes how I work. Alongside exploring challenges, I also pay attention to strengths, resilience, coping skills, and the resources people already carry within themselves.
In couples therapy, I use Gottman Method approach to support couples in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and developing a better understanding of the interactional patterns they may feel stuck in together.
At the core of my work is the understanding that many coping patterns and emotional responses develop for understandable reasons, especially during stressful or painful periods of life.
Rather than approaching these patterns with judgment, therapy can offer a space to explore them with greater curiosity, self-awareness, and compassion while working toward meaningful and realistic change.
I believe many people have spent a long time adapting to environments, relationships, or experiences where parts of themselves may not have felt fully understood, welcomed, or safe to express. Therapy can offer space for those experiences to be explored with greater compassion, awareness, and connection.
I value warmth without pressure and creating a space where clients do not feel the need to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have everything figured out before starting therapy.
Cultural sensitivity is also an important part of my work. I recognize that our identities, relationships, communities, and lived experiences can shape the way we move through the world, experience stress, relate to others, and make sense of ourselves.
I value curiosity, openness, and understanding each client within the context of their own experiences and relationships.

My work is informed by ongoing professional development and training in trauma-informed, somatic, solution-focused, and relationship-based approaches to therapy. My training includes:
-
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute
-
Gottman Method Couples Therapy through The Gottman Institute
-
Intensive Sex Therapy Training program through the University of Guelph
-
A certificate in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy through OISE, University of Toronto
Outside of Therapy
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, going for hikes, listening to music or podcasts, reading, and finding small ways to slow down and recharge.
I’m naturally someone who enjoys learning, reflecting, and having quiet routines that help me feel grounded and present.
Those parts of my life also influence how I show up in therapy; with curiosity, calmness, and an appreciation for slowing down enough to really pay attention.
